Henry Feiner, a partner at the firm of Harry Seidler and Associates, presents a tribute to Australia’s most influential architect, Harry Seidler. By referring to a diverse selection of Seidler’s architecture, from residential houses to corporate and residential high-rise towers, Feiner highlights the significance and originality of Seidler’s rich body of work. Feiner demonstrates the logic of Seidler’s architectural planning, his appreciation and understanding of the Australian climate and his avant garde understanding and use of technology. For those who have wondered what makes Seidler’s work so significant to local and international architecture, and for those who already possess an appreciation of Seidler’s work, this presentation reinforces the unique contribution that Harry Seidler has made to both the architectural profession and the skyline of numerous cities throughout the world.
