She highlights the legislative requirements with which planners, architects, and designers must comply in the public environment, and the long-term necessity for universal housing design in meeting the needs of our ageing population. She leverages her experience as a professional in the issues of accessibility to public buildings, and discusses the ‘Top 10’ design features that go towards creating lifetime homes.
