The laws regarding discrimination, sexual harassment and equal opportunity are relevant to all workplaces within Australia and if ignored, can have a significant impact on individuals and employers, where ignorance is not a defence available in the courts.

The legal implications for employees and employers with regard to these laws are comprehensively covered by Sam Ingui, a partner in the legal firm of Colin Biggers and Paisley.

Sam clearly defines these laws, citing cases which illustrate common pitfalls for unsuspecting employees and employers.  He provides useful advice to prevent staff and employers falling foul of these laws.
